Welcome to Prestwood Nature
Vandalism again at Sheepwash
What can we do about it?
On Friday evening 17th June vandals again damaged the viewing platform at the Sheepwash pond on Honor End Lane.
This is not the first time vandals have senselessly damaged the platform and it is very dispiriting for the Prestwood Nature volunteers who work so hard at Sheepwash and for the many local people who use and cherish the place.
What do you think we should do? There is a limit to how long we can continue to spend our members’ subscriptions repairing the damage caused by these vandals.

For the past 6 months, anyone who purchased own-brand products from the Great Missenden Coop were able to nominate Prestwood Nature as the local charity to receive 1% of what they spent. This raised a total of £2180 which was presented to us on 19th April by Neil Smith, manager of the Great Missenden Co-op.
The money will be spent helping us to turn Boug’s Meadow into a wild-flower meadow in the heart of Great Missenden.
