Walks and Visits

Visit to Ashwell Farm, Little KingshillA variety of field trips have been arranged, such as fungus forays, farm walks, species identification (e.g. flowers, bumble-bees, butterflies), different habitats, etc. These are often open to the public and therefore serve to introduce non-members to the variety and importance of local species.

We run an annual fungus foray in Angling Spring Wood and in 2009 two popular events were guided walks along some of our old "green lanes" to see their spring flowers.
